CTHS REGISTRATION:

- Canadian, recognised by Agriculture Canada, reasonable fees
- CTHS registered horses are eligible for Trakehner awards such as :
        - annual CTHS awards in most disciplines
        - special awards: e.g  3 for dressage, 1 for young competitors, 2 for breeders
        - hi-point awards (halter, cooler) at selected shows
- registered animals are easier to sell
- registration provides useful info about horses, age, pedigree, breeder,
  previous owners, evaluation info

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

         - information & support from the society
         - regular mailings, e.g. CANADIAN TRAKEHNER, newsletters 4x year etc.
         - fellowship with other horse people all across Canada
         - reasonable/affordable registration fees
         - input, voting at meetings

WHAT CTHS DOES:

         - advertises in horse publications  all across Canada
         - provides info re horses for sale, approved stallions, pedigrees, performance
           info to all members and to all who inquire
         - publishes newsletters, The CANADIAN TRAKEHNER, sales lists, etc.
         - registers, brands, inspects horses
         - provides info booths at various horse events across Canada
         - maintains a webpage on the internet
