Awards Criteria for CTHS Annual Awards

Awards include a beautiful plaque for the breeder/owner/competitor as well as cash prizes for certain awards.  See below for more details.  For all awards horse must be CTHS registered.

CTHS Annual Awards: Outstanding Performance in Any Discipline
 Trakehners bred in all Canada or U.S
 Deemed to have outstanding performance in any discipline
 Owner must be CTHS member

Young Competitor’s Award (Cash Award)
 Trakehners bred in all Canada or U.S
 Competitor is 20 years old or younger
 Horse and rider doing well in any discipline

Hanna Schmocker Memorial Award: Breeder’s Award for Top Mare Inspected
 Trakehners bred in all Canada or U.S
 Awarded to the mare to receive the highest overall inspection score
 Owner must be CTHS member

Driving Award (Cash Award)
 Trakehners bred in all Canada or U.S
 Horse doing well in driving competitions

Elke Otremaba Memorial Award
 Horse bred in Manitoba
 Horse doing well in dressage

Hans Wulf Memorial Award
 Horse bred in Alberta
 Horse doing well in dressage

Eleonora Hydar Memorial Award (Cash Award)
 Horse bred in British Columbia or competitor from British Columbia

Ontario Breeder’s Award
 Awarded to the mare to receive the highest overall inspection score in Ontario
 Owner must be CTHS member
